About Us

About Us

As Rotarians, we recognise the power of many. Rotary has over 1.2 million members in 34,000 clubs in 215 countries. In Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the islands of the SW Pacific, Rotary has over 32,000 members in 1136 clubs. We believe that, as a Rotary team, we can do things that will really make a difference.

Chartered in 1992, RCNS was created with 50% male and 50% female members, many members have been a part of the Club since the beginning, or shortly after. We also keep in touch with members who have moved on from the club.

Our Club

We now have 5 committees, they are, Membership, Foundation and New Generation, Administration, Service Projects, and Public Relations with every club member sitting on one. Each new member is interviewed and assessed to see which committee would suit them and the club best.

We are very active with a number of annual and more frequent events run by a keen Board of Directors.

District 9670 Representatives

Denis Hyland is assistant Governor caring for 5 other clubs.

Wendy Hawthorne is a member of the Learning and Development committee.

Getting Involved

There are many ways to join Rotary and becoming a member is the best way to gain exposure to full inclusion in Rotary’s programs and activities. You can also volunteer on fundraising projects, donate to Rotary programs, become a corporate partner or sponsor, or volunteer for overseas aid work.

You are invited to attend our meeting, or contact us us to talk first. Let us know how you would like to get involved. When we align our goals and work together, we see rewards in the world around us.
